This kind of incident is exactly why people think guns should be banned. My husband and I are NRA lifemembers, have several guns in the house and act responsibly. In a house w/ 4 young children you have to be. We lock our guns up and routinly teach our kids gun safety. We also teach them what to do if they are not at home and a gun is present ( at a freind's house etc.). Banning guns is not the answer. Punishing those that act like idiots is something that should be considered. These types of accidents should never happen. Why was that gun left loaded where a child could reach it? On another note, that kid has anger issues. If my 4 year old acted that way- well, she just wouldn't. My kids are polite & respectful, I don't know why people can't raise theirs the same.
